Touring Site

Threlkeld Hall is just a short stroll from the pretty village of Threlkeld boasting three traditional pubs, The Horse And Farrier, The Salutation Inn and the White Horse, all offering a wide range of excellent food and drink.

Threlkeld Hall is an ideal base for walking. You can walk directly from the site and pick up the disused, converted railway line from Threlkeld to Keswick and enjoy three miles of well maintained mostly flat walking. The scenic footpath passes through the Greta Gorge by the River Greta with highlighted points of interest along the way.

Just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery or for the more adventurous you can try water sports, fishing, rock climbing, cycling, pony riding and paragliding all within a 5 mile area.
